Exact Moves
have been awarded the contract to relocate Preqin from their
current offices in EC4 to new prestigious premises in Lower
Thames Street, London EC3. The relocation involves around 140
staff over 1 weekend and includes the following integrated
services:
- IT re-commission
- Crate hire
- File packing and unpacking
- Pre and Post move assistance
- Relocation of furniture and effects
- Environmental Recycling and Disposal
INDUSTRIAL
MOVE
- Exact Moves have been awarded the contract to relocate
Lewden Metals from their current factory/warehouse in London
E10 to purpose built premises in Braintree, Essex. The project
involves the relocation of over 500 crates, around 10,000
cubic foot of furniture and effects and the relocation of over
500 pallets of stock. The move is planned to be completed over
a 5 day period towards the end of December 2014.
SAD TO SEE HER GO
- Exact Moves have replaced one of
their existing Euro 3 converted vehicles with a new Mercedes
Euro 5 13.5t Box vehicle. The vehicle is fitted with double
sleeper cab, large box and 1.5t tail lift. The vehicle will be
the 2nd vehicles to be painted in the new 50th Anniversary
livery and colours and will arrive around the end of November
2014. The new vehicle is part of the Environmental Fleet
upgrade planned to be completed by 2018.
DOW JONES TAKE STOCK WITH EXACT
SUSTAINABILITY SOLUTION! - Exact
Moves have been appointed to carry out the clearance and
recycling of over 300 positions of redundant office furniture
together with misc office effects for Dow Jones from their old
buildings in EC4 and WC2. The clearance will be completed by
the end of November 2014. We have utilised the services of
Clearance Solutions to purchase all of the furniture as part
of our environmental programme and to meet Dow Jones corporate
environmental responsibilty.

MEDIA MOVE PACKAGE
- Exact Moves have been awarded the contract to relocate
Aspermont media from their current premises in EC2 to new
premises in EC4. The move is scheduled to be completed towards
the end of November 2014. The relocation involves around 50
staff with services being provided to include:
- IT Decommission and re-commission
- Crate hire
- File packing and unpacking
- Pre and Post move assistance
- Relocation of furniture, IT and effects
- Environmental Recycling and Disposal of WEEE and furniture

March 2014. Exact Moves have been awarded the BS8522
Commercial Moving standard. The BS 8522 quality standard was
developed by the BAR Commercial Moving Group in collaboration
with BSI, Facilities Managers, procurement and removal
professionals. The standard provides the commercial moving
industry with recognised, specific and measurable benchmarks
which are also relevant to its particular activities and
together with the ISO9001 and ISO14001 we are ensuring our
commitment and care to our clients, suppliers, employees and
environment.
In achieving the BS 8522 quality
standard, Exact Moves are not only committed to delivering
professional relocation services, they demonstrate the highest
standards of care for the environment, conformance to
diversity and equality principles, a commitment to socio
economic issues, and a proficiency in e-tendering issues.
10th March
2014. Exact Moves have been awarded their ISO9001:2008 and
ISO14001:2004 for the 9th year running. After passing the
stringent 3 year audit and inspection we have been accredited
to a high level without any non conformities.
February
2014. Exact Moves have now been appointed as National Group
Member of the British Association of Removers (BAR) after
passing the BAR inspection in January 2014. The acceptance
into the BAR further reflects the commitment, hard work and
high standards of excellence that Exact Moves provides to our
clients and Employees. In the 2nd Quarter of 2014 our next
goal will be to achieve membership for the Commercial Moving
Group in passing the BS8522 for commercial removals.
October 2012
due to Expansion and to further enhance the high level of
service that Exact Moves provide to their existing and new
client base they have relocated to a new 30,000sqft storage
and warehousing facility in West Thurrock. This will allow us
to grow our current storage and fleet level by 200%.
October 2012
– Exact Moves were awarded the contract to relocate Hitachi
Capital (UK) PLC from their existing offices in Hounslow to
new prestigious offices located in Staines. The move consists
of relocating 140 staff over a weekend period in November
2012.
The
extensive range of services to be provided include:
• Full
decommission and re-commission of IT and VOIP communications
services
• IT packing and unpacking services
•
Installation of Monitors to Monitor arms and CPU desk cradles
• To supply circa 1350 crates for the transfer of desk
contents, storage filing and centralised filing areas and IT
equipment
• Pre-printed labels and desk signage
• Full
relocation services
April 2012 –
Exact Moves were awarded with ISO14001:2004 status.
Exact Moves have successfully
completed the ISO9001:2008 accreditation for 2011 without the
issue non conformities. This is now our 6th year in
succession.
We are now progressing towards
implementing a formal integrated management system, covering
Quality and Environmental which will meet all the requirements
of both ISO9001:2008 and ISO14001:2004.
We are planning this to be
integrated into our current management system during the
second half of 2011 with an assessment planned for early 2012.
Independent European Certification
Limited have been contacted and provisioned to undertake the
integrated management system/EMS(ISO14001:2004) assessment.
